About Car Games

Car Games is a UK-based website dedicated to free car games you can play in your browser.

Our goal

We want to be the easiest place on the web to find a good car game in seconds. That means a focused collection of racing, drifting and parking games, clear categories, fast pages and honest guides, rather than thousands of games of mixed quality.

How we choose games

Every game goes through the same checks before it is published:

1. Demand. We look at what players actually search for, so we add games people want.
2. Quality. The game has to load quickly on this site, have clear controls and be fun for more than a minute.
3. Rights. We only publish games that their developers distribute for embedding on websites, through licensed distribution platforms.
4. Suitability. No graphic violence, no chat with strangers and nothing unsuitable for a general audience aged 13 and over.

How we write our guides

Each game page is written by our team. We explain what the game is about, list every control for keyboard and touch screens, describe how progression and upgrades work, and share the tips that helped us. We update guides when games change, and every page shows when it was last updated.

Who writes for Car Games

Car Games is written by a small independent team of car game fans. Every game is loaded and checked on this site before it goes live, and every guide is written for this site, with a focus on clear controls and honest tips. Our testing process explains exactly what we check. Guides are signed "The Car Games team".

How the site is funded

Car Games is free to use. Games may show short adverts from their distributor, and we may show adverts on our pages in the future. Adverts never decide which games we feature or what we write about them.
