Unblocked Car Games

14 free games

Looking for car games unblocked at school, college or work? This page gathers the lightest games in our collection: HTML5 car games that run straight in the browser, with no download, no plug-in and no account. Because they load from one ordinary web page and do not need anything installed, they tend to work on Chromebooks and shared computers where downloadable games cannot run. We cannot promise that a game will load on your network, because every school and office sets its own filters, and we will never help you get around them. What we can do is keep these pages fast, simple and free of anything unsuitable: no chat with strangers, no sign-ups and no violence. Play during your break, follow your school's rules, and if a game is blocked, it is blocked for a reason. Every game below also lists its controls and whether it works on a touch screen.

What makes a car game "unblocked"

People use the word in two ways. Most of the time they mean a game that runs in a normal web page, without an installer, an app store or an old plug-in such as Flash. Those games work on computers where downloads are switched off, which is why they are popular on school Chromebooks and library PCs. All the games on this page are of that kind.

The other meaning, a game that gets around a network filter, is one we do not offer. Filters are set by schools and employers for safety and bandwidth reasons. If a page is blocked on your network, ask whoever manages it, or play at home instead.

How we choose unblocked car games

We only list a game here if it meets all of these points:

  • Runs in the browser. Pure HTML5, no download, no plug-in, no account.
  • Light and quick to load. Short loading times on an average laptop or Chromebook.
  • Simple controls. Playable with the arrow keys, WASD or the mouse, ideally with touch support too.
  • Suitable for a general audience. Non-violent driving, with no chat and no user-generated content.
  • Short sessions. Games you can enjoy in a few minutes and leave without losing much progress.

The best unblocked car games by type

One-button and casual games

Kigali Drift King and Twisty Roads need only two keys, which makes them ideal for a short break. Both are easy to start and surprisingly hard to master.

Racing games

Stock Car Hero and the retro Nitro Rally run smoothly on modest hardware and keep races short, and Pixel Kart is a quick two-player race on one keyboard.

Parking puzzles

Parking Frenzy and Draw The Car Path are calm, mouse-friendly puzzles that suit a quiet moment between classes.

Tips for playing on a Chromebook or shared computer

  • Close other tabs before you start. Browser games share the device's memory with everything else that is open.
  • Use full screen with the button under the player for a bigger view and fewer distractions.
  • Your favourites stay in the browser. Use the heart button to save games. Nothing is sent to us, but clearing the browser data removes the list.
  • Mute the sound if you are in a shared space. Most games have a sound button in their own menu.
